About Me:
I am a reader, a writer, a literary-agent-in-training, a mother, a traveller…but I am also a woman on a mission! I want to ensure that I don’t waste anymore time on the negative. So I’m chucking all of that, throw out the doom-and-gloom news without light at the end of the tunnel, I want to hear authentic stories…and I want to create them.
A world-traveller, I feel best when living overseas. Born and raised in Southern California (Orange County before it became The OC), I I have lived in 4 US states, London, Tuscany and now Australia. Permanently! I couldn’t be happier and I look forward to new adventures…
Career-wise, my CV will show I’m also all over the map, but I wrote a non-fiction book (originally published in Oct.2007) Planning to Conceive with a wonderful friend and fab Australian GP, Sarah Bentley. Since then I have been busy confusing raising 2 sons, having articles published in local magazines and across the interwebs and now enjoy helping up-and-coming authors fulfill their own publishing dreams.
This blog is my way of writing what I need to, sharing what I discover and, hopefully, entertaining you along the way.
I value new friendships – and love finding new blogs to follow. If you think I’d enjoy your blog and you’d like to be included on my blogroll, please let me know! :)

I’m looking forward to reading more!
I don’t know why I didn’t find this before. Looking forward to reading it. You know me as Lyn Amber and Lyn Burnstine. For years and years I did a musical worship service at UU fellowships and churches on this same topic–choosing joy– and I’m always delighted to find people who agree with me that it is a choice.
Hi, Writergrrl! I was following you on PNN and now I’ll be following you from your very own blog! :D
I’d like to add your blog link to my blog and if you don’t mind, if you like my stuff, please add my blog to your blog list! I write about family, parenting, and spousal relationships basically. I’ve done some stuff on PNN but I thought I’d try it on my own and see what happens…not much so far :) but that’s OK!
Anyway, I LOVE your blog! I’ll subscribe! :) Keep on writing!
“luv2write78″ aka MotherhoodOverload aka Tamra K. Misseijer :)

I really enjoy your website and want to take a moment of your time to inquire about any guest posting opportunities that you may have on your blog. I’ve written an informational and educational article on the importance of early childhood education that I believe your readers of (http://anjwritesabout.com/) would be interested in.
Thank you in advance for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you.

I like your style, Anj. I am off to bed now, but will read more soon. Thanks for popping over to my blog via The Fibro.
I have a blog about my life during and after the death of my baby girl Amelia. I pretty much lay it on the line and find it very wonderful to find other mamas who feel the same. Hope you stop by.
